We have arrived in Antigua! We are staying at the lovely Posada Don Valentino. It has beautiful terraces that we are spending a lot of time on.
The city is surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. It is so incredible to look up and see them towering over the colorful storefronts as we walk through the city. The people here are very kind and patient with our awful
Spanish thankfully! We stopped in a cafe for frijoles colorados and pepian de pollo for a late lunch and then had ice cream for dinner. Loving Guatemala so far.
